Child Care Assistance

Child care is a necessary expense, but difficult to afford when you’re starting out on a new job or completing training to acquire new career skills.

Providing the Help When You Need it Most.

Our income maintenance programs can help you get you back on track.

That’s why the Logan County Department of Job and Family Services (LCDJFS) helps eligible families pay for child care as they transition back into the workforce.

To qualify, families must:

  • Be working or enrolled in a training or educational program

  • Meet gross monthly income guidelines based on family size

  • Take their children to a certified child care provider or center that is under contract with LCDJFS

Through this program, qualifying families pay a portion of the child care expenses, based on income and family size.
